This piece was the last composition of Robert Jacob. A chap I had the honour of performing with at the Dillington Guitar Festival UK. His family gave me a copy of the manuscript and I gave the first performance of the work at Dillington. It was untitled so ‘A Gift’ seemed most appropriate.
